The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.
Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.
Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".
If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.
As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.
What is a Core Charge?
A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.
30 Day Core Charge Hold
You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.
"This Product Doesn't Have a Core"
Designed for Bobcat and Doosan engines including the D18 DM01, D24 DM02, and D34 DM03 (2020–2024), the OEM 7415661 Fuel Control Actuator (FCA) is manufactured to meet original equipment specifications for precise fit and reliable operation. This actuator plays a key role in managing fuel delivery signals to the engine’s fuel system, helping ensure accurate fuel regulation across varying engine loads. Built with quality internal components and engineered tolerances, it is suited for demanding conditions found in compact equipment and industrial applications. Proper FCA function supports smooth engine response and controlled combustion behavior. Tamerx Diesel Products LLC offers this Bobcat/Doosan fuel control actuator as a dependable solution for maintaining consistent fuel system operation.

The Fuel Control Actuator (FCA) for Bobcat and Doosan engines like the D18 DM01, D24 DM02, and D34 DM03 is an essential electronic fuel system component that regulates the amount of fuel delivered to the high-pressure pump and helps maintain proper rail pressure in the common-rail fuel system. It is often referenced in industry sources as an inlet metering valve (IMV) or fuel control valve.
Although sold as a complete assembly, an FCA contains several internal parts and features that allow it to manage fuel control precisely:
Core Actuator Components
- Actuator Housing
- The outer body that mounts to the fuel system and contains all internal elements.
- Electronic Control Solenoid
- Receives signals from the engine control module to vary fuel flow.
- Valve Mechanism (Inlet Metering Valve)
- A precision valve that adjusts fuel volume entering the high-pressure pump.
- Internal Springs
- Provide return force and help control valve movement.
- Seals and O-Rings
- Ensure fuel tightness and prevent leaks around internal parts.
Supporting Features
- Fuel Inlet Port
- Where fuel enters the actuator from the low-pressure supply.
- Fuel Outlet Port
- Where metered fuel exits toward the high-pressure pump.
- Electrical Connector
- Interface for communication with the engine control module (ECM).
- Mounting Flange and Hardware
- Facilitate secure installation on the fuel system.
Together, these components allow the FCA to adjust fuel supply based on real-time engine demands, supporting stable rail pressure and controlled combustion in the engine’s fuel system.
The Fuel Control Actuator (FCA) regulates fuel flow within the high pressure fuel system. Because it operates with tight tolerances and constant fuel movement, contamination and wear can shorten its lifespan. Proper maintenance plays a major role in preventing premature failure.
Clean fuel is the most important factor.
To help prolong the lifespan of your FCA:
- Replace the fuel filter at recommended intervals
- Use high-quality fuel from reputable sources
- Avoid running the tank consistently near empty
- Drain water separators regularly (for diesel engines)
- Address fuel pressure fault codes promptly
- Keep electrical connectors clean and secure
Contaminants such as dirt, rust, or water can interfere with the actuator’s precise movement. Even small particles can affect how accurately it controls fuel flow.
Low fuel levels can also increase the chance of pulling debris from the bottom of the tank into the system.
Electrical issues are another concern. Corroded connectors or damaged wiring can cause irregular fuel pressure readings and place unnecessary strain on the actuator.
Routine inspections, timely filter changes, and early diagnosis of fuel system issues can significantly extend the life of your Fuel Control Actuator and help maintain consistent engine operation.
Yes, the 7415661 FCA is designed to match the original fuel system electrical connections and harness.
Symptoms such as erratic fuel response or diagnostic codes linked to fuel control could signal FCA inspection.
Yes, the 7415661 FCA interacts with the engine’s ECU to help regulate fuel delivery based on operating conditions.
A properly functioning 7415661 Fuel Control Actuator helps maintain accurate fuel control for consistent engine behavior.
