We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The crankcase breather system is essential for maintaining the overall health and efficiency of your engine. In the International Navistar MaxxForce engines, the crankcase breather connector plays a crucial role in managing the ventilation of gases from the engine’s crankcase. In this blog, we’ll explore the importance of the International Navistar MaxxForce Crankcase Breather Connector 2008-2010: OEM 1883113C1, and how it helps keep your engine running smoothly.

The Importance of the Crankcase Breather Connector

The crankcase breather connector ensures that excess gases are safely vented out of the crankcase, preventing pressure build-up and potential damage to engine components. Here’s how the OEM 1883113C1 connector benefits your MaxxForce engine:

  • Prevents Pressure Build-Up

    • The crankcase breather system prevents the build-up of pressure within the engine, which can cause oil leaks and damage seals. The OEM 1883113C1 connector ensures that gases are properly vented, maintaining the integrity of the engine.

  • Reduces Oil Contamination

    • By venting gases out of the crankcase, the breather connector helps reduce the likelihood of oil contamination. This is crucial for maintaining the quality of the engine oil and ensuring it provides proper lubrication to engine components.

  • Improves Engine Efficiency

    • A well-functioning crankcase breather system contributes to overall engine efficiency by preventing the re-circulation of harmful gases. The OEM 1883113C1 connector ensures that your engine breathes properly, leading to better performance.

  • Extends Engine Life

    • By preventing excess pressure and oil contamination, the crankcase breather connector helps extend the life of your engine. This reduces the need for repairs and keeps your vehicle running reliably.

Why Choose OEM 1883113C1?

Choosing the International Navistar MaxxForce Crankcase Breather Connector, OEM 1883113C1, ensures that you are using a part specifically designed for your engine. OEM parts provide the best fit, durability, and performance, ensuring that your engine operates at its best.

The International Navistar MaxxForce Crankcase Breather Connector 2008-2010: OEM 1883113C1 is essential for maintaining engine health and efficiency. By preventing pressure build-up, reducing oil contamination, improving engine efficiency, and extending engine life, this connector plays a critical role in keeping your MaxxForce engine running smoothly. Invest in the right crankcase breather connector to ensure your engine delivers reliable performance for years to come.

The crankcase breather connector plays a crucial role in your vehicle’s engine by allowing excess gases to escape from the crankcase, helping to maintain proper pressure levels. When this component fails, it can lead to a range of engine performance issues. Understanding the symptoms of a bad crankcase breather connector can help you address the problem early, ensuring your engine continues to run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Excessive Oil Consumption

    • A failing crankcase breather connector can lead to increased pressure in the crankcase, causing oil to be pushed out through seals and gaskets. This can result in excessive oil consumption and the need for frequent top-ups.

  • Oil Leaks

    • A bad crankcase breather connector may cause oil to leak from the engine. You might notice oil spots under your vehicle or see oil seeping from around the crankcase area. This occurs because the excess pressure forces oil out of weak points in the engine.

  • Rough Idling

    • If the crankcase breather connector is clogged or damaged, it can disrupt the air-fuel mixture, leading to rough idling. You may notice your engine running unevenly or shaking when idling, which is a clear sign that something is wrong.

  • Check Engine Light

    • A malfunctioning crankcase breather connector can trigger the Check Engine Light. The engine control module (ECM) may detect issues related to the air-fuel ratio or pressure levels in the crankcase, leading to this warning.

  • Reduced Engine Performance

    • A bad crankcase breather connector can cause reduced engine performance, such as loss of power or sluggish acceleration. This happens because the engine isn’t able to breathe properly, leading to a buildup of pressure and reduced efficiency.

Recognizing the symptoms of a bad crankcase breather connector—such as excessive oil consumption, oil leaks, rough idling, the Check Engine Light, and reduced engine performance—is crucial for maintaining your vehicle’s health. Addressing these issues early can help you avoid more severe engine damage and ensure your vehicle continues to run efficiently. Regular inspections and timely replacement of faulty components are key to keeping your engine in top condition and avoiding costly repairs.
