Tamerx Diesel Products ships via UPS Ground. Next day air shipping can be arranged for a reasonable price of anywhere from $50.00 - $100.00 depending on the weight of the product and your location. We will do everything we can to make sure that you get the service you need. We understand how important it is to receive your order as quickly as possible.
In most cases Tamerx Diesel Products only needs one address, as long as your product is shipping to the same location as your billing information. In order to eliminate credit card fraud, your billing information must match the credit card you provide.

The terms, conditions, and details of our warranty vary from product to product. Specific warranty details can be found below.

Tamerx Diesel Products provides a replacement warranty on all of our parts. The duration and mileage limitations of the warranty vary by product and are specified on the product's detail page/item listing.

Please note that the warranty covers replacement of the part and the cost of shipping the replacement part to you only. It does not cover any shop, labor, towing, or any similar or related costs. This is not a "money back guarantee".

If you experience a problem with your part or it is not functioning properly, the correct warranty procedure is to call us at (510) 257-1777 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday). Be sure to have your order number and/or other relevant order information ready so we can easily locate your order and resolve your issue as quickly as possible. From that point, we will review with you any troubleshooting steps that may need to be taken and other areas or systems that can be checked to rule out external problems contributing to your part's issue. If a replacement is determined to be necessary, we will then arrange for your replacement part to ship out ASAP and issue any necessary return shipping labels and/or documents.

As is the case for the majority of the diesel products sold on Tamerx Diesel Products, your part's warranty is active as soon as you install it. In some other cases, warranty activation is contingent upon you sending us your core (i.e., your old part). Tamerx Diesel Products will provide you a return shipping label for parts that have a warranty with a core return condition. When we have received your core return, the part's warranty coverage begins. We reserve the right to void the product warranty if your core is not received within the allotted time, or if it isn't received at all. If the warranty for the diesel part you are purchasing has a core return requirement, it will be clearly noted on the product detail page/item listing.

What is a Core Charge?

A core charge (also called "core deposit") is similar to the deposit you might pay for a can or bottle of soda and is a standard requirement in the auto parts industry. For example, in many states, to promote recycling, you pay a deposit when you purchase a can of soda and receive your deposit back when you return the empty can. Many automotive parts have a core charge, or core price, that works in essentially the same way as a soda can deposit.

30 Day Core Charge Hold

You authorize Tamerx Diesel Products, to hold your credit card for the specified core charge amount and that you agree to return your core with 30 days of receiving the purchased part. When we have received your core return, the hold is released and the core charge payment is canceled.

The International Navistar MaxxForce 13 and 11 engines from 2008-2010 rely on a precise fuel system to deliver optimal performance. A key component in this system is the Fuel Control Actuator (FCA), OEM 0928400737, which plays a crucial role in regulating fuel flow and pressure. This blog will explain the function of the FCA, its importance in your engine, and why keeping this part in good condition is essential for engine efficiency.

What Does the Fuel Control Actuator Do?

  • Regulates Fuel Flow
    • The primary function of the Fuel Control Actuator is to control the amount of fuel delivered to the fuel injectors by regulating fuel pressure. This ensures that the correct amount of fuel is supplied to the engine under various operating conditions, maintaining smooth engine performance.
  • Prevents Fuel Overpressure

    • By maintaining the correct fuel pressure, the FCA prevents fuel overpressure in the system. Overpressure can cause damage to the injectors and other components, leading to costly repairs and downtime. The OEM 0928400737 ensures that fuel pressure remains within the safe operating range.

  • Supports Efficient Combustion

    • The FCA helps optimize the combustion process by delivering the right amount of fuel at the right time. This contributes to improved fuel efficiency and reduces the emission of harmful exhaust gases, helping your engine run cleaner and more effectively.

  • Engine Power Management

    • The FCA works in conjunction with other engine components to adjust fuel delivery based on load demands. Whether the engine is idling, accelerating, or operating under heavy load, the FCA ensures that the engine receives the fuel it needs to perform efficiently.

  • Designed for MaxxForce 13 and 11 Engines

    • The OEM 0928400737 Fuel Control Actuator is specifically designed for MaxxForce 13 and 11 engines, ensuring compatibility and reliable performance. This precision-engineered part fits seamlessly into your engine’s fuel system, providing long-term durability and consistent operation.

Why Use the OEM 0928400737 FCA?

Choosing a genuine OEM part like the 0928400737 ensures that your engine continues to perform at its best. The exact fit and quality of OEM components mean you can trust them to work perfectly with your engine's fuel system, helping prevent issues like poor fuel efficiency or pressure imbalances.

The International Navistar MaxxForce 13, 11 Fuel Control Actuator (OEM 0928400737) plays a critical role in managing fuel pressure and flow, which is essential for engine efficiency and longevity. By regulating fuel delivery, it helps maintain optimal combustion, prevent system overpressure, and support smooth engine performance. For reliable fuel system maintenance, the OEM 0928400737 is the ideal choice. TamerX Diesel Parts provides this high-quality FCA to ensure your engine runs smoothly and efficiently.

The fuel control actuator is a vital component in managing the flow and pressure of fuel to your vehicle’s engine. When it starts to fail, it can lead to poor performance and even engine damage. Understanding what causes a fuel control actuator to fail can help you prevent these issues and maintain optimal engine function. In this blog, we will explore the common reasons behind fuel control actuator failure and how you can avoid them.

  • Fuel Contamination

    •  Dirt, debris, or water in the fuel can clog the fuel control actuator, causing it to work inefficiently or fail completely. Fuel contamination is one of the leading causes of actuator failure.

  • Wear and Tear

    •  Over time, the components of the fuel control actuator can wear out due to constant use, especially in high-mileage vehicles. Regular wear can lead to reduced efficiency and eventual failure.

  • Electrical Issues

    •  The actuator relies on electrical signals to control fuel flow. Problems such as damaged wiring, loose connections, or short circuits can cause the actuator to malfunction or stop working altogether.

  • High Fuel Pressure

    •  Consistently high fuel pressure can put extra stress on the actuator, causing it to overheat or wear out faster. This can lead to premature failure if not addressed in time.

  • Poor Maintenance

    •  Skipping regular vehicle maintenance, such as fuel filter changes, can lead to clogging and damage within the fuel system, including the actuator. Proper maintenance is key to preventing these issues.

  • Extreme Operating Conditions

    • Exposure to extreme temperatures, whether from the engine or the environment, can accelerate the wear and tear on the fuel control actuator, making it more prone to failure.

The fuel control actuator is essential for maintaining proper fuel delivery to your engine. Factors like fuel contamination, electrical problems, and general wear and tear can lead to its failure if left unchecked. Regular maintenance, including keeping your fuel clean and inspecting electrical components, is crucial to extending the life of your fuel control actuator and ensuring your engine runs smoothly.
