Caterpillar 304, 305 CR Mini Excavators

Caterpillars 304 and 305 CR Mini Excavators
Models 304 and 305 CR of Caterpillar's mini excavators have operating weights of 9,867 and 12,688 pounds, respectively. The maximum digging depths of the two Cat excavators are 10 feet 6 inches and 11 feet 3 inches, respectively.
The Cat 304 has a reduced-radius design with a 66.9-inch track width and is 10 inches thinner than the 304 E2.
The Cat 305 CR has 9% greater power than its predecessor thanks to a Cat 45-horsepower C1.7 turbo engine. Increased breakout forces—11,061 lb.-ft. for the bucket and 6,362 with a normal stick—are given by hydraulic system improvements. It has a compact-radius swing and a 78-inch track width.
For both Caterpillar excavators, angle dozer blade variants are available. The angle blade provides standard float capability along with above- and below-grade travel, and it rotates 45 degrees to the left or right of the center.
The majority of Cat's next generation small hydraulic excavators have sealed and pressurized cab enclosures, which can be equipped with heating and/or air conditioning for year-round comfort. 360-degree visibility is provided by large glass panels and a skylight in the cab. Modern touchscreen technology on the large display enables easy monitoring of critical operating parameters and simple manipulation of machine functions. There is a cover option available in some places.
