MaxxForce engines are featured internationally

When International Truck and Engine Corp. announced the horsepower and torque ratings for its MaxxForce 11 and MaxxForce 13 diesel truck engines this morning at the Mid-America Trucking Show, there was standing room only in the room. The stage was surrounded on all sides by an exhibit exhibiting the whole line of trucks from International as well as the most recent MaxxForce engines in a 175-year-old product line.

Thomas claims that this integrated approach has many benefits, including better power characteristics, less loud and unpleasant noise and vibration, and greater strength without putting on additional weight.

The Class 8 engines have recently been added to the MaxxForce collection, which also includes engines for the Class 4 - 7 market.
