Caterpillar's C13 Twin Turbo issues:
Your twin turbos will lose a lot of power when they malfunction. All four boots should be replaced, and the air charge cooler should be inspected, although the problem might not be fixed. Before you start messing with the turbos, carefully measure the parts using a turbo boost gauge.
Additional probable causes include crankshaft or camshaft cracks. Check to see if the system is leaking any crankcase oil. In that case, although uncertain, it might be the problem.
A blown head gasket or a leak in the CAC could be further causes. Finding any boost is challenging because getting a reading while you are still is practically impossible.
Spray some soapy water all around the turbo to see whether the leak is coming from one of the clamps. Visit a top-notch C13 mechanic, of course. To find and solve the problem, they will have the best and most unusual tools.
Try the O-ring last since it could need to be replaced. These have been identified as the main issues, and without the right equipment, solving them won't be as easy.
