For maximum effectiveness, the Cat 350 excavator features integrated technologies.

Large buckets up to 3.2 m3 (4.2 yd3) can be added to the Cat 350 Excavator for efficiency that is unmatched in its class. Additionally, it has a powerful digging force and swing torque.

The 350 consumes up to 13% less gasoline than the Cat 349 while remaining equally functional in order to reduce costs, reduce CO2 emissions, and operate more efficiently. Three power mode options—Smart, Power, and Eco—align the excavator with the task in order to further reduce fuel use.

Brian Abbott, Caterpillar's global product manager for large hydraulic excavators, stated that the company was committed to lowering greenhouse gas emissions while ensuring that its clients met their climate-related objectives. "The 350 is our latest example of keeping that commitment,"

Increasing productivity with technology

The 350 Excavator's standard Cat 2D Grade system shows depth and slope data on the monitor along with alarms to enhance operational effectiveness.

The operator can easily perform single-lever digging while maintaining grade thanks to Grade Assist.

In order to save fuel, Swing Assist automatically stops the excavator swing while it is being used for trenching or truck loading operations.

Lift Assist aids in preventing machine tipping by letting the operator know the weight is within safe working range constraints. The operator-defined set points are prevented from being exceeded by the 2D E-Fence, allowing the excavator to safely maneuver around obstructions.

The onboard weighing system at Cat Payload delivers real-time weight estimates that assist the business in achieving its load and efficiency targets. Paired with VisionLink, Payload offers remote management of production targets. Instead, without using the internet or a VisionLink membership, fleet managers can utilize the monitor's USB connector to download up to 30 days' worth of work for progress management.

Cat Grade with Advanced 2D enables the production and editing of grade designs via a second high-resolution touchscreen display, and Cat Grade with 3D enables the creation and editing of designs on the second monitor as well as the capability to view the full range of motion for the front linkage. Furthermore, all Cat Grade systems can be used with radios and base stations produced by reliable third-party technology manufacturers.

Robust, powerful, and little maintenance

The Cat C9.3B engine's long-term dependability has been demonstrated by more than 14 million service hours. By synchronizing oil and fuel filter service intervals of 1,000 hours, downtime is reduced. With a 3,000-hour replacement period, the hydraulic oil filter offers a 50% improvement in filtering performance over the previous model.

The 350 can function at elevations as high as 4500 m. (14,764 ft). It is capable of cold starting at -18 C, cold starting at -32 C (-25 F), and high ambient temperature starting at 52 C (126 F) (0 F). Machine operation is sped up and component durability is increased in cold conditions thanks to automatic hydraulic warming.

The machine's cores are kept free of debris thanks to high dust capacity double element air intake filters with pre-cleaners and an automated reverse hydraulic fan.

Using web and mobile applications, Product Link automatically collects data, including location, hours, fuel usage, idle time, maintenance alerts, diagnostic codes, and machine health, and then gives fleet managers the crucial operational data they need online.

Remote troubleshoot and remote flash allow dealers to remotely connect with the machine in order to diagnose fault codes and update operating software, maximizing machine uptime. Operators can easily keep track of filter life and maintenance intervals thanks to the touch screen display.

Comfortable operating

The 350 provides straightforward keyless starting with a push button, Operator ID passcode, or Bluetooth key fob. Based on the Operator ID, the system will keep track of certain preferences. Each joystick button can be customized by the operator in terms of power mode, responsiveness, and pattern. Quick access to the digital operator's manual and easy navigating of the machine controls are made possible by the machine's large, HD touchscreen monitor with jog dial.

When cutting through difficult material, standard auto dig boost automatically increases power by 8% for better bucket penetration, quicker cycle times, and higher payloads.

Auto heavy lift increases lifting power by 8% for as long as required.

With the stroke of a button, operators can switch to the optional Cat Stick Steer for simple one-handed movement and turning. To prevent damage to the excavator and attachment, the standard auto hammer stop signals operators after 15 seconds of continuous fire and shuts off the hammer after 30 seconds.

The premium cab comes equipped with automatic climate control, a tilt-up left seat console for easy entry and exit, and a heated seat. All controls are arranged ergonomically in front of the operator to reduce fatigue and strained movements. Excellent, fatigue-free visibility of the work area is provided by the large cab windows and the machine's decreased front, right, and rear profiles.
